Jack Quick and his wife June Quick started Legacy Home & Bath in 2020. They were born and raised in Des Moines, today they live ﬁve minutes northeast of Ankeny, Iowa in Elkhart, north of town on an acreage where they enjoy spending time with family, friends, their animals, and working in their pear/apple orchard. In 1984 Jack completed the carpentry program at Denison Job Corps where he gained ground-up commercial and residential construction experience.
Through the years his passion and love for the trades have grown into the need to fulﬁll his dream of owning his own business. Jack is also a self-taught artist and his love for animals run deep to the point wherein 2005 he went to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and Rita to volunteer with the Animal Rescue Efforts in 2007 after two years, and being a part of the rescue efforts of more than 7,000 animals, he stayed in New Orleans to work on a residential home damaged by the storms, and then afterward moving to Baton Rouge where he worked in residential remodeling before returning home to Des Moines in 2011.
Jack’s wife, June is an experienced healthcare professional, she has been a Certiﬁed Nursing Assistant for 30 years. Throughout her career, she has cared for some of the most inﬂuential people in Iowa. June has given excellent customer service throughout her career. Her compassion for people has led her to work with legislators as she advocated for children and families of Iowa.
